What Macaron does
Section titled “What Macaron does”Macaron turns a macOS machine into a temporary remote workstation. It enables SSH access, prevents sleep, starts Tailscale, and launches the services you configured. When Macaron stops, it shuts those services down and restores the previous system settings.
Bring your own services
Any application can become a service by adding a small .macaron directory with a foreground start script.
Private by design
SSH and service URLs use your private Tailscale network instead of exposing ports to the public internet.
